PSEO Student Responsibilities
Wayzata High School students who take Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) classes agree to take on the following responsibilities.
Student responsibilities
Complete:
- All WHS graduation requirements in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
- Coursework needed to meet college admissions requirements.
- All required forms, gathering necessary signatures, and meeting all deadlines.
- Your courses and maintain a strong GPA.
Keep your counselor up-to-date.
- During the first week of each semester, give them a copy of your PSEO class schedule.
- Your counselor cannot see your PSEO grades. Tell them right away if you:
- Need academic help.
- Drop, withdraw from or fail a PSEO course.
- At the end of each semester, make sure they receive an official transcript from your PSEO college.
Know that:
- If you choose to drop a class, you must:
- Follow the college’s official withdrawal process.
- Meet their deadlines.
- All grades earned in PSEO—including W (Withdraw), I (Incomplete), or F (Fail)—will appear on your WHS transcript.
- PSEO grades are not weighted.
- Grades from PSEO courses become part of your permanent college GPA and transcript.
Stay connected
- Even if you’re off campus, you are still a WHS student.
- Stay informed about important events like:
- College visits.
- Prom.
- ACT testing.
- Graduation activities and opportunities.
