Trojan Tots Preschool

This hands-on learning class:

• Allows students to learn about a career in early childhood education.
• Offers convenient and affordable childcare to Wayzata High School staff and the community.

Preschool experience

• Trojan Tots is open to potty-trained children aged 3 to 5.
• Our high school students lead preschool learning activities in science, math, art, music, language, and movement.
• Preschoolers also enjoy free play, recess, and a snack.
• We give priority registration to preschoolers who can attend:
  • Both Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • For all 4 sessions.

Hours of operation

• 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesdays and Thursdays
• During the school year

Cost

$100 per season (estimated at 13 days)
$400 for the full school year (about 48-52 days)

Trojan Tots childcare is available:

• September through May
• Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY
• 8:30 -11:15 a.m.

Session dates

There is a “break” between sessions as we prepare new “teachers” for the tots. The breaks align with the high school’s term dates.

Fall 2026

• Tuesday, September 15 - Thursday, October 29
• No school on October 15 (Thursday)

Early Winter 2026

• Thursday, November 19 - Thursday, January 14 
• No sessions on November 26, December 24, December 29, and December 31 

Late Winter 2027

• Thursday, February 4 - Thursday, March 18 
• No session on April 8

Spring 2027

• Thursday, April 16 - Thursday, May 28
