Link Crew
Students in grades 11 and 12 can apply to become Link Leaders. Link Leaders welcome new students and help them navigate the high school.
Overview
Members of Link Crew build supportive relationships that help new student feel:
- Welcomed
- Connected
- Confident
You will mentor:
- Students in grade 9
- Other students who are new to WHS
You will meet with students:
- One-on-one
- In small groups
- In large groups
Time commitment
Link Crew members make a commitment for the whole school year.
You will take part in:
- A one-day summer training for Link Crew members
- Freshman orientation
- Annual Respect Retreat
- Other meetings and mentoring sessions as requested
