SAT

The SAT:

• Is completely digital.
• Takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• Has two sections.
• Each section is scored on a scale of 200 to 800.
• Total scores range from 400 to 1600.

What to know

• Allow yourself at least 30 minutes to register.
• Have your transcript handy to help you answer questions.
• Have a photo ready to upload. Check College Board photo requirements.
• Have Wayzata High School's CEEB code handy: 242650

You will have to create a username and password. Save these for future use.

Create a College Board account and register

• The accommodations approved for you by the College Board are built into the digital test. 
  • They cannot be changed or declined on test day.
  • If you no longer want to use an approved accommodation, contact your counselor or case manager as soon as possible.
• If you do not have College Board-approved accommodations and want them, request them by the end of August.

• SAT scores are not listed on your high school transcript.
• You have to ask SAT to send your scores directly to any college you apply to.
• SAT will charge a fee for sending the score to the college.
