Letters of Recommendation

Students can use MaiaLearning, an app on the MyApps portal, to request LORs from teachers and counselors.

• Before you request an LOR, make sure your college requires one.
• Talk to your teacher in person before you make a request.
• Request the LOR at least three weeks before you need it.
• Give your teacher or counselor a due date that is 10 school days before your first college application deadline.
