Regular attendance is important to your student’s success in high school. We tell you how to report an absence.
How to report an absence
Notify us by 9 a.m. on the day your child will be absent.
Preferred method
- Submit an absence through Skyward Family Access.
- Allow at least two hours for it to process.
Alternative method
- Call the attendance line on the day of the absence.
- Voicemail is available 24 hours a day.
How to begin
Arriving late or leaving early
If you arrive late or plan to leave early

Bring a note from your parent or guardian.
- Give it to the greeter when you arrive at school.
Unexpected early departures
If a student gets sick at school
- Go to the Health Office.
- We will contact the parents.
Other unexpected early departures
- Submit the absence in Skyward at least two hours in advance, or
- Call the attendance line at the number below.
