Academic study block application

• An academic study block is an unscheduled, open period in a student's daily schedule.
• Students in grades 11 and 12 can request one.
• There is no penalty, as long as you have an administrators approval.

• The requirements for approval are listed at the bottom of the application form.
• Your student support team will review your application and determine if you qualify.

When you submit your application

• Our system will automatically email a permission and release of liability form to your parent or guardian.
• Have your parents or guardian check their email and complete the form.
• When they submit the form, our system will automatically send an email to the associate principal, asking for approval.
• Your associate principal will review and approve or deny your request.
• Your schedule will then be updated in Skyward.
